My computers

This section contains technical details about the computers that I own and that are currently cluttering up my bedroom. The complete list of computers is :

BBC Model B (issue 4 motherboard).
Acorn Electron.
BBC Master 128.
Acorn Archimedes.
Amstrad PC1512.
Amstrad PC1640.
Amstrad 2286.
Tandon 286.
Toshiba T1910S laptop.
Caliban / Kronos / Smoothwall, a 486 (later AMD K6-2) machine currently being used as a firewall.

Dell Inspiron 8500 laptop.

A brief history is also given for some of the computers, where I know anything about it... Note that the specifications given apply to my computers, not necessarily the range as a whole. If anyone finds any wrong data in these pages can they please contact me using the link at the bottom of the page.

Please note that although I own these machines, I don't necessarily know very much their finer points or troubleshooting.
